Charlie Hills’ Khaadem set for Sprint Cup at Haydock

Charlie Hills Is Currently looking forward to Visiting Stewards’ Cup hero Khaadem return to the highest level from the Sprint Cup at Haydock on Saturday.

The Dark Angel colt was a disappointing on his only previous appearance in Group One company when seventh at the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot in June – finishing 10 crosses behind Martyn Meade’s Sprint Cup favorite Advertise.
A runner-up conclusion behind raider Waldpfad in the Hackwood Stakes at Newbury was a step in the ideal direction and he turned what is one of the very competitive sprint handicaps of the season into a procession at Goodwood on his most recent appearance.
Hills told Sky Sports Racing:”They had a little rain there last week, but it shouldn’t be a problem. Or so the ground may be on the other side, there is maybe prediction later in the week, but that should be handled by him.
”It was pretty slow in Newbury when he won there in the spring, so I’m fairly relaxed very.
”We’re quite far back in halfway (from the Stewards’ Cup). He showed a great turn of foot and left a great deal of earth up, although they came back to him a tiny bit.
”We’ve been happy with him because. It’s a major step up from a handicap to some Group One, however, I think that it’s the only method we can go ”
